Production Supervisor - Permanent role - €42,000 + Shift Premium
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor on behalf of one of our well-known clients here in Naas, Co. Kildare. We are looking for someone with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent role (Please note: This role will be done on a 24/7 shift roster)
Salary: €42,000 + 30% premium (24/7 shift roster)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily operations of production lines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
2. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team leaders and operators.
3. Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety, and health & safety standards.
4. Meet production and quality targets while maintaining service excellence.
5. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Conduct regular quality checks and maintain records to meet customer and legal requirements.
7. Assist with scheduling, employee training, and performance management.
8. Respond to employee queries and address concerns promptly.
9. Drive a positive team culture, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
10. Support grievance and disciplinary processes in conjunction with management and HR.
11. Flexibly adapt to rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing; experience within Meat is advantageous.
2. Proven management experience in a similar role is required.
3. Third-level education is desirable.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
6. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
