Job Description
Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Dispatch Clerk for our Classis location, Cork. The person appointed may be also be required to cover Dispatch and Clerical duties in the greater Southern area.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Scheduling of deliveries, optimising of transport and processing of dockets.
• Daily Cash reconciliations.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Dispatch office.
• Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager.
• Entering clocked hours onto Zellis.
• Management of the Dispatch reports for SOX compliance.
• Issuing Purchase Orders and liaising with suppliers and Contractors.
• Filing of delivery dockets and timesheets relevant to PO’s issued.
• Manage and operate the office in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Process all orders in an efficient and a timely manner.
• Other duties as requested by the Location Manager.
About The Role
The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role:
* Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
* Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
* Knowledge of Zellis, Oracle and Command Alkon systems would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of Roadstone building materials would be an advantage.
