Overview of role
Our client, a company who provide end-to-end electronic security system installations are looking to hire aSenior Security Project Supervisor.The role will be based on a University campus in North Dublin with 80+ buildings and you will be the coordinator charged with meeting maintenance and reactive repair SLA’s alongside overseeing project improvement works and upgrades.
Responsibilities/Duties
* Lead and manage your team of security engineers to complete all planned maintenance and reactive repairs on our contracted systems
* To manage and deliver projects according to the agreed asset and resource plans, contracted deliverables and the agreed scope.
* To maintain frequent and detailed communication with all members of the team to ensure clarity at all times.
* To identify, communicate and where necessary escalate deviations from plan without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits and maintain clarity.
* To proactively manage foreseen project risks and mitigate issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions.
* Ensure all works on your site comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management within the fire and security sector or related fields.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* In-depth understanding of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems, as well as security systems.
* Relevant certifications in project management and fire/security systems are often required.
* High level of commercial awareness and customer focus.
