Our client is a well-known builders' provider who is recruiting for general managers for their branches based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, and overall operations, with a focus on driving sales, developing strategies for growth, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operationsDrive sales and monitor marginDesign strategy and set goals for growthMaintain quality service with clients and establish new leadsMaintain budgets, optimize expenses and identify areas for improvementSet and implement policies and processesEnsure employees work productively and develop professionallyOversee recruitment and training of new employeesEvaluate and improve operations and financial performanceDirect the employee assessment processPrepare regular reports for upper managementEnsure staff follows health and safety regulationsWork with our senior management team to implement strategiesProvide solutions to issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors, etc.Requirements:Proven success as a General Manager or similar executive role (Demonstrated with examples and key achievements)Experience within the industry is desirable, but not essentialExperience in planning and budgetingKnowledge of business processes and functions (sales, finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
