Our client is a well-known builders’ provider who is recruiting for general managers for their branches based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, and overall operations, with a focus on driving sales, developing strategies for growth, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day operations
2. Drive sales and monitor margin
3. Design strategy and set goals for growth
4. Maintain quality service with clients and establish new leads
5. Maintain budgets, optimize expenses and identify areas for improvement
6. Set and implement policies and processes
7. Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
8. Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
9. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
10. Direct the employee assessment process
11. Prepare regular reports for upper management
12. Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
13. Work with our senior management team to implement strategies
14. Provide solutions to issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors, etc.
Requirements:
1. Proven success as a General Manager or similar executive role (Demonstrated with examples and key achievements)
2. Experience within the industry is desirable, but not essential
3. Experience in planning and budgeting
4. Knowledge of business processes and functions (sales, finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
