Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of our company's facilities. This role is at the heart of promoting a productive, safe, and efficient work environment for the team and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Oversee building repairs, renovations, and maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
* Manage vendor relationships for cleaning, security, utilities, and more.
* Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, ensuring efficient spending and transparency.
* Conduct regular inspections, address maintenance needs proactively, and track facility-related issues using reporting tools.
Health and Safety
* Enforce health and safety regulations to protect employees and visitors.
* Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
* Partner with department managers to develop escalation and reporting processes.
* Work closely with HR and Operations to integrate safety and facilities procedures seamlessly.
* Share policies and best practices with other business units to strengthen companywide alignment.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven expertise in facilities management or health & safety, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, building standards, and facilities management software.
* A proactive mindset with excellent organizational and project management skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage employees, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
