Job Description
A leading pharmaceutical company in Cork is seeking a skilled Project/Equipment Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to take on new challenges and make a significant impact.
The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment introduction, validation, and maintenance, as well as process improvement and leadership skills. They will be responsible for collaborating with value streams to identify opportunities for automation, robotics, and other forms of equipment enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the introduction and validation of new equipment to ensure seamless integration into existing processes.
* Drive process improvement initiatives onsite, leveraging expertise to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop solutions for equipment improvement, including automation, robotics, and vision systems.
* Provide leadership and guidance on maintenance and equipment issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
* Develop specifications for new equipment (URS) and lead tech transfers from other locations, promoting best practices and standardization.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in a related field of study.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in equipment engineering and process improvement.
* Right to work freely in Ireland without any visa restrictions.
