BIM Engineer (Cork)

We are recruiting an experienced BIM Engineer (3+ years) to join our team in Cork. BIM Modelling experience within Power Generation or Embedded Renewables would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will join our expanding design team & support these industrial projects.

Responsibilities
* Producing 2D and 3D (Revit) drawings from inception, taking inputs from vendors and internal design teams.
* Generating plans, elevations, and isometrics for electrical systems (as well as some mechanical and structural), including Design, For Construction, Shop Drawings and As-Builts.
* Generating other M&E services drawings as required, including SLDs, Network/Control Schematics, and P&IDs.
* Liaising with NeoDyne design engineers, construction managers, sub-consultants, and contractors for collaborative multidisciplinary projects.
* Acting as document controller for larger projects involving multiple designers.
Qualifications
* Level 8 Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering qualification or similar
* Minimum 2-3 years' design experience
* Experience with 3D CAD/ BIM/ Drawing packages such as Revit MEP, Plant 3D or similar
* Experience with Mechanical or Electrical construction in the energy industry.
