Revenue Manager - Galway Harbour Hotel
Reporting to the General Manager
Galway Harbour Hotel is currently recruiting for the position of Revenue Manager. We are looking for a diligent, passionate, and team-focused person to join our team. The purpose of the role is to implement revenue management operations, procedures, and best practices while identifying new revenue opportunities. The provision of reporting on a weekly and monthly basis will provide informative business consulting for the hotel manager and owners. The revenue manager will be able to challenge and influence the hotel to improve service levels and operational standards throughout.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations.
* Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments, and reporting.
* Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
* Assist with the maintenance of a 24-36 month rolling demand calendar.
* Create and develop pricing strategies for the hotel.
* Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
* Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.
* Ensure website booking process is maintained, fully up-to-date, and functional.
* Responsible for best practice standards including competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modelling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control, and new pricing concepts.
* Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates.
* Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
* Responsible for the people management of the reservations department.
Experience and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
* 4* hotel experience.
* Revenue experience within a hotel with a minimum of 80 rooms or more.
* Experience of a city hotel market.
* Strong command of both written and spoken English.
* Must be an EU Citizen or in possession of an unrestrictive visa for the EU.
* Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
* Knowledgeable of hotel technology; PMS, Channel Manager, RMS, GDS, CDS, Extranets.
