Job Description:
A challenging opportunity to take charge of a thriving Heating & Plumbing trade store as General Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operational and administrative issues, including staff rostering, security, and stock management.
2. Exceed assigned business targets, sales budgets, KPIs, and cost control while demonstrating ambition and profit focus.
3. Develop and manage team performance, fostering a positive work environment.
4. Analyse market trends, identifying opportunities to improve store performance.
5. Maintain exceptional customer service standards, ensuring customer needs are met.
6. Ensure the store is presented to the highest standard, promoting a positive image for customers and employees alike.
7. Lead by example, setting a positive tone for the team and embodying the company's values.
8. Manage profit and loss accounts, store KPIs, cash handling, and stock discrepancies.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Manager or high-level Assistant Manager.
2. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
3. Strong communication, leadership, and training abilities.
4. Business acumen, change orientation, and proactive attitude.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
