Job Summary
The Subway Manager is a key role in ensuring the successful operation of our restaurant. This full-time position is responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and drive sales growth through effective marketing initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
1. Oversee overall restaurant management, including staff direction, inventory control, and money handling.
2. Ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
3. Maintain restaurant safety and security standards.
4. Recruit, train, and schedule employees to meet business needs.
5. Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract new customers and increase sales.
6. Manage business records, analyze sales data, and make informed decisions to drive growth.
7. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer feedback.
Additional Tasks
- Create and post staff work schedules.
- Recruit, reward, and terminate staff as needed.
- Communicate changes in food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
- Ensure compliance with local and national health and food safety codes, as well as company safety and security policies.
- Maintain accurate business records and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support local and national marketing initiatives.
- Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales.
- Plan special events and promotions.
- Complete University of Subway courses as directed.
Requirements
A minimum of two years' experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in supervisory or training roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
