Fota Island Resort is currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant for the Staff Canteen & Back of House Areas.

Ensure the staff canteen is clean, well-stocked, and set up for meal services at designated times.
Staff meals are served on time and in an appropriate manner (Staff can serve themselves but under the supervision and direction of the Staff Canteen Attendant).
Ensure that all canteen and food service items i.e.
pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are available on time as needed.
Continuous cleaning and sanitization of tables, counters, and serving stations in the canteen.
Manage and monitor stock levels in the staff canteen, restocking shortages in close cooperation with the kitchen supervisor.
Setting staff canteen up for the day - Coffee, milk, etc Monitoring & restocking of staff food within appropriate hours Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the canteen and back-of-house corridor from the Hotel managers office through to the service entrance including IRD area Carry out cleaning duties, including deep cleaning, as outlined in the cleaning schedule for kitchen equipment, dry stores, canteen, and associated areas.
