The Lifesaving Administrator's key purpose is to assist in fulfilling Water Safety Ireland's (WSI) mission of education and lifesaving activities, specifically, Goal 3 of our Strategy: Provide instruction in water safety, and lifesaving courses nationwide, and develop participation in lifesaving sport.
The Lifesaving Administrator does this primarily by assisting the Technical Officer in key administrative functions, in particular, the administration required to deliver initiatives that allow the public to participate in the sport of Lifesaving.
The Clerical Officer may also be called upon to assist other Team members from time to time.
Location While based in Galway, this is a hybrid role that also involves travel.
Please note that WSI has a Hybrid Working Policy that allows you to apply to work remotely up to three days and in the office for a minimum of 2 days a week.
Conditions of Service Contract term and probation: The position is initially offered for 3 years on a fixed term basis.
The contract will be renewed subject to satisfactory performance and WSI's financial resources.
A probationary period of 12 months will apply from your start date.
