Job Title: Medical Secretary/General Practice Assistant
This is a full-time position in a well-established General Practice in Limerick City. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative duties, including:
* Phlebotomy: Candidates with phlebotomy experience or interest are preferred.
* Reception and appointment duties: Shared responsibility with other staff members.
* Patient data input to the Practice Management System (Socrates).
* Preparing repeat prescriptions and Social Welfare certificates.
* Typing referral letters and other assigned typing tasks.
* Assisting with billing and insurance claims.
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR regulations.
* Filing and managing patient records, as well as other administrative tasks assigned by management.
