Project Engineer – Fill Finish Facility
Dublin-based opportunity with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization.
Overview:
Support a portfolio of projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry, coordinating project activities to deliver capital projects against Safety, Quality and Schedule commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate capital project activities against Safety, Schedule and Quality.
2. Ensure delivery of project through the Capital Project Management Process.
3. Develop, report, and manage project deliverables.
4. Manage third-party contractors and outsourced partners for optimal project delivery against safety, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
5. Drive a safety culture through the project team; ensure projects comply with site and corporate regulatory authority guidelines.
6. Manage project planning/scoping, execution, prioritization, resources, status, and external communication.
7. Collaborate with various stakeholders to scope projects and satisfy requirements; communicate project progress and challenges.
8. Solve complex project phasing and execution issues; responsible for portfolio projects from concept to operation.
9. Coordinate new equipment introduction, leading project team problem-solving and troubleshooting before qualification and start-up.
10. Lead multidisciplinary site teams.
11. Contribute to Root Cause Investigations and Cross Functional Investigations within the Process Teams structure.
12. Raise awareness on environmental health/safety practices; ensure projects are designed with superior levels of control.
13. Supervise contingent workers as needed, including construction managers and general labor.
14. Present projects to senior leadership for updates and approvals.
15. Travel may be required to support project execution.
Education / Experience:
1. Technical qualification at third level or equivalent in Engineering.
2. Experience working in Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firms or Biopharmaceutical capital projects teams is beneficial.
3. Knowledge of safety, GMP, and environmental regulatory requirements.
4. Demonstrated strong Communication and Leadership skills.
5. Able to collaborate with senior stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
6. Technical report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
