We are currently looking for a talented Senior BIM Co-ordinator to join our in-house team, working on complex construction-related projects. The successful candidate will be an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and resolves issues working closely with all stakeholders. This role is based in Dublin.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to produce collaborative 3D models and associated drawings
2. Liaise with BIM Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, & Project Supervisor
3. Input model elements with required detail (graphic & data)
4. Monitor/checking of clashes - Producing weekly clash reports
5. Coordinate and monitor Incoming/shared models
6. Lead weekly coordination meetings
7. Produce Images, Drawings as required by Project Manager
8. BIM modelling and creation using Revit and AutoCAD
9. Coordination of mechanical & electrical elements and asset data
10. Production of COBie data
11. Production of as-built drawings and model
12. Production of Asset Information Model
13. BIM delivery on both live and tender projects
14. Produce AutoCAD mechanical and electrical schematics
15. Adhering and working in accordance with the company's current Safety Statement and Quality Health and Safety management system including all policies/procedures contained within.
16. Experience with point cloud data advantageous
Role Requirements:
1. Mechanical / Electrical Trade background an advantage
2. Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in BIM/Revit/Navisworks essential
4. Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential
5. Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issues.
