Assistant Financial Controller
A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our client's finance team.
Your Role:
* Assist the Financial Controller in preparing and analyzing monthly results, as well as producing and presenting yearly budgets and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide revenue reports to the General Manager, highlighting forecasted versus actual performance.
* Process and check supplier invoices through the online purchase ordering system.
* Maintain the Creditors Ledger and handle supplier queries.
* Ensure payroll is accurately and timely signed off, while being aware of company and legislative requirements regarding holiday pay and sick pay policy.
* Manage monthly stocktakes and calculate same.
* Complete ROS returns.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant with hotel accounts experience desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge and experience in using accounting software.
* Good IT skills and experience working with MS Excel.
* Efficient work methods, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
