Here at Americold we are now recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor for the Monaghan sites.
As a key member of the team, you will play an active role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the sites. You will conduct daily meetings with on-site technicians to coordinate tasks and address operational priorities, as well as attend the daily AOS meeting with the Operations department to align on updates and objectives. You will organise and manage daily and weekly workloads, ensuring efficient task allocation and timely completion.
In addition, you will prepare, fill in, and submit daily and weekly reports to track progress and performance. You will meet with contractors on site to discuss project requirements, monitor progress, and ensure compliance. Performing regular daily checks to ensure all staff and contractors adhere to health and safety (H&S) procedures will be a critical part of your role.
You will assist with repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep the site operational while monitoring the SCADA system and plant performance daily to identify and resolve issues promptly. You will also manage and maintain the site’s maintenance stock, ensuring resources are available when required. Furthermore, you will oversee weekly energy consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support the Maintenance Team with both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions.
In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining site safety, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the seamless delivery of maintenance activities.
This is a rewarding Maintenance Supervisor role requiring someone with a good, all-round knowledge, and experience in some or all following areas. Backed up with valid certifications:
1. Carpentry
2. Plumbing
3. Electrical
4. Construction
5. Mechanical
6. Refrigeration
7. Automatization
8. SCADA system

2. have access to their own transport
3. be willing to travel to other sites within the Group if needed
4. have good IT skills e.g. Excel, email, CMMS etc
5. be capable of working in a cold environment

Core hours of work: 08.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.30 to 4.00pm and weekends on a rota basis.
