Newly Qualified Accountant Here at Osborne, we are hiring for a Newly Qualified Accountant, on behalf of a dynamic and growing construction manufacturing company.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work closely with the Managing Director.
As a Newly Qualified Accountant, you will be at the heart of their finance function, managing day-to-day financial operations while providing strategic insights.
Location: Allenwood, Co. Kildare (Fully On-Site) Salary: €50,000 - €55,000 DOE Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Flexible start & finish times, 1-hour lunch) **Note: Due to location, own transport is required.
** Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive business growth.
Oversee VAT, payroll, and tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring healthy cash flow.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
Maintain strong financial documentation and internal controls.
Partner with the MD to assess financial viability of new projects.
Support funding applications and liaise with banks and investors.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase financial efficiency.
Provide data-driven financial insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience: Recently qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
1-3 years experience in a finance role, ideally in an SME, construction, or manufacturing environment.
Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
