We have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Manager to work with our integrated teams on our client sites. You will oversee the EHS programmes for multiple state of the art medical devices plants in the Munster region. This is a 12-month, contract role.
Your Duties
1. Lead the culture of EHS compliance throughout the Plant.
2. Manage ISO Certification and Audits.
3. Organise Health and Safety Training and manage the on-site training matrix.
4. Develop and work with the teams on monthly safety alert/toolbox talk topics as per current risks and trends.
5. Participate in the audit processes and procedures, ensuring the business complies with all relevant statutory and best practice.
6. Carry out Site Audit Inspections.
7. Support the Team developing High Risk Assessments and Method Statements across the Contract.
8. Assist Waste Administrator on waste management and invoicing in line with the Commercial Team.
9. Analyse the monthly EHS statistics for global board reports and look for any current trends.
10. Liaise with EHS regulators HSA, EPA, local councils, etc.
11. Maintain the EHS management system.
12. Collaborate with site leadership to ensure alignment on priority EHS issues.
13. Manage spend in line with budget and drive efficiencies and cost savings across EHS service and equipment providers.
Our EHS Manager
1. 5+ years EHS experience.
2. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and local/national authorities.
3. MS Office skills.
4. Problem-solving attitude.
5. Great client management skills.
