Job Purpose & Role Overview
This seasonal role (April to October) supports the function of the finance manager and wider finance team with high volume day to day transactional financial accounting during our key operating months. This role ensures that all finance functions across the team can be completed in a timely manner to assist with accurate month end reporting.
Seasonality
This role is seasonal, running from the start of April to end of October. This is our operational season with clients travelling with us during this period. As such, a higher volume of transactional accounting takes place at this time.
Hours of Work
Hours for this role are 21 hours per week (0.6FTE), typically worked Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required to support the wider team beyond your day to day role.
Key Accountabilities
* Purchase ledger management - receipt, checking, processing and filing of purchase invoices
* Company card reconciliation - checking and reconciling of card transactions
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Finance Manager, responsible for all areas of day to day finance administration
* Process purchase ledger invoices, plus any other purchase ledger tasks
* Follow financial processes to ensure that Revolut card balances are managed
* Follow financial processes to ensure that Revolut card expenditure is processed and reconciled in a timely manner
* Provide an exceptional level of client care at all times
* Ensure that finance team, suppliers and clients receive all relevant information in a timely manner
* Training on financial processes for wider team

* Good IT skills with experience in cloud-based CRM systems such as Salesforce, Google Drive and Mac applications.

Preferred Role-Specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* A passion for financial administration
* Solid numeracy and IT skills, enabling you to work with Xero & Salesforce and their associated reporting systems
* Proven ability to follow financial processes, prioritising tasks and maintaining attention to detail during times of pressure
* Experience of dealing with all parts of the tourism supply chain including accommodation, transport and other service providers
