Your Role as Senior Public Affairs and Communications Manager
You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing the company's public affairs strategy, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy.
* Ensure the public affairs needs of internal and external stakeholders are met.
* Collaborate with Corporate Affairs team leads to develop a multi-stakeholder mapping strategy and engagement plan.
* Liaise with departments to identify initiatives and activities for promotion to key external stakeholders.
* Monitor government and policy developments, providing reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
* Manage public policy work, including conducting research, drafting reports, and consultation responses.
* Provide guidance and information on policy matters, seeking advice as necessary.
* Conduct horizon scanning to shape policy and public affairs planning.
Requirements for Success
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in public affairs and corporate communications.
* Strong understanding of the political and media landscape in Ireland.
* Proven track record of developing stakeholder engagement strategies with a focus on political engagement.
* Experience in project management.
* Third-level degree in politics or a relevant field.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Full driving licence is essential.
