Key Responsibilities:
* Menus & Budgets: Assist Head Chef in the development of menus & control food costs & waste.
* Food preparation: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with preparing, cooking, and packing lunch for distribution.
* Kitchen organization: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with keeping the kitchen organized and tidy and ensure produce matches orders.
* Cleaning and maintenance: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with cleaning stations and disposing of expired food.
* Learning and development: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with communicating kitchen responsibilities, developing chef teams skills, and improving culinary knowledge amongst the team.
* Other duties: Work with all departments on communicating & following company policies.
* Health and safety: Ensure food is handled and prepared safely and comply with health and hygiene regulations. Have HACCP Food Safety Certification & knowledge is required and excellent hygiene standards.
* Communication: Interact with all departments and Managers to ensure effective running of production.
* Experience: Have a background in a CPU or busy kitchen environment focusing on a high standard.
* Individual: Be able to manage a team of people while also being self-driven to achieve company KPIs.
