About the Position
As a Document Controller, you will work closely with all levels of management on large infrastructure-related construction/engineering projects across Ireland. These projects encompass various sectors such as roads, railways, and water development initiatives. You will be fully responsible for your own projects and expected to develop a team under your guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
* Coordinating the creation of documents related to projects.
* Liaising with engineering departments to coordinate schedules.
* Managing related databases.
* Collaborating with H&S and Quality Engineers to ensure relevant documentation is acquired.
* Participating in and assisting with training of in-house procedures.
* Working towards goals and objectives set by the management team and striving to meet these in an efficient manner.
* Demonstrating excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in document control.
* A related Engineering qualification.
* Ideal experience in engineering projects.
* The ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with Interaxo is advantageous.
