Gaelic Games Vetting Officer Role Summary
The Gaelic Games Associations are seeking a highly skilled Vetting Officer to promote the safeguarding of children and young people in the organization. This role is an administration position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate vetting for the Gaelic Games Associations
* Assist the Safeguarding Teams with implementing vetting legislation
* Data entry of vetting applications into the National Vetting Bureau site
* First point of contact for vetting queries by phone and via email
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in safeguarding or a related field
* Knowledge of vetting legislation on the island of Ireland and Gaelic Games Associations safeguarding policies
* Experience in working in vetting administration
