Job Title: Cold Store Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grange Castle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience working in automated environments.
This is a multi-skilled role that requires the ability to work effectively in a cold environment on a continental shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all equipment is repaired to the highest standards.
* Record all work carried out through the maintenance department in SAP and Shift Report.
* Approve the completion of work carried out.
* Implement permanent fixes for issues raised on the SAP Shift Report.
* Be responsible for the maintenance H&S function on shift.
* Provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all maintenance activities.
* Assist management in technical and automation activities (projects, equipment install, reporting, and continuous improvements).
* Help build a continuous improvement environment in the facility.
* Be a good communicator and able to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical and electrical background.
* Electrical background with the ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical faults.
* Food/refrigeration and other utility experiences an advantage.
* Trades, diploma, or degree qualifications required.
* Good team player and self-motivated.
* Available for call-out duties and/or overtime when required.
* Computer literacy (SAP).
