Job Description The Diamond Coast Hotel is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team in Enniscrone, County Sligo on a maternity leave cover contract
Role & Responsibilities The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for drawing up the annual Sales & Marketing Plan, in line with revenue KPIs, budgets & hotel resources.
They will be responsible for managing the Sales & Marketing departments & will work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure room revenue targets are being met.
This is a senior management role and requires a focus further than the sales department and into the operational team, in order to gain the fullest understanding of the business and how to continue its success.
They will advise management on market trends and any potential opportunities for revenue generation on the business as a whole.
Duties include:
Develop the overall sales & revenue strategy and propose the key account objectives and activities.
Develop the online and offline marketing, brand and public relations strategy for the hotel.
Develop the advertising strategy both traditional and digital for the hotel in line with hotel budget.
Oversee online marketing of brand website, social channels and brand presence across all online platforms .
Develop social media strategy to assist marketing and sales efforts.
Develop good working relationships with key accounts; leverage account knowledge to increase revenue generated from that account Sell bedrooms, conferences, events, meetings, weddings, food & beverage and other hotel services.
