Grade III Clerical Officer / Administrator
My client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a skilled Grade III Clerical Officer / Administrator to join their team on a temporary contract. This role is fully onsite and requires 24/7 flexibility.
Duties:
* Front of house reception duties involve greeting patients in a courteous manner, handling enquiries politely and efficiently, and displaying empathy when answering queries at the reception desk or over the telephone.
* Deal with ad hoc enquiries and complaints in a pleasant and responsive manner, solving problems immediately where possible and referring to an appropriate senior person if necessary.
* Carry out administrative duties in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner at all times.
* Typing is essential, as data processing involves a lot of paperwork, requiring accuracy of utmost importance.
* Strong IT skills are required, as you will work on lots of Excel databases and update reports.
Key Requirements:
* 1-2 years of administration experience and a background working in an office or call centre environment is essential.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required to complete this role.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail is necessary for success in this position.
Working Conditions:
* Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, with 24/7 flexibility required.
* Rosters are given in advance.
* Rate of Pay: €16.38 per hour plus shift allowance and double time on Sundays and public holidays.
* 26 days annual leave.
