We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a skilled Senior Chef to manage and elevate the culinary experience in their coffee-focused restaurant in Malahide.
As the Coffee Senior Chef, you will lead the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, creative, and modern dishes, with a focus on breakfast, brunch, and casual dining. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining an exciting menu that complements the coffee experience, while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and kitchen management.
Our client is a renowned coffee and dining venue in Malahide, known for its premium coffee, fresh ingredients, and innovative culinary offerings. Their mission is to provide an exceptional dining experience where food and coffee are harmoniously paired to create memorable moments for guests.
Duties:
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Develop and design a creative menu focusing on breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes that enhance the coffee experience.
* Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control are in line with the venue’s standards.
* Manage food purchasing, stock control, and inventory management, ensuring cost-effective kitchen operations.
* Train, mentor, and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team on menu promotions, seasonal offerings, and special events.
* Monitor kitchen performance, including cost control, waste management, and ensuring profitability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Chef or Head Chef in a similar high-quality casual dining environment.
* Strong knowledge of breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu trends and innovations.
* Passion for using fresh, local ingredients and creating unique, flavorful dishes.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a kitchen team.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
