**Job Title:** HR Executive
**About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to oversee the day-to-day Human Resources activities of our service organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the HR department.
* Promote employee engagement through clear communication and team management.
* Respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
* Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, and team development.
* Oversee recruitment, including advertising, screening, and onboarding.
* E nsure new employees have all necessary documents and training for a smooth onboarding experience.
* Maintain up-to-date employee files and aim for a paperless HR system.
* Ensure compliance with training requirements and arrange refresher training.
* Coordinate training sessions as needed.
* Advise on disciplinary processes and handle employee grievances, consulting the Group HR Manager when required.
* Submit weekly payroll to the payroll department.
* Assist with the delivery of group-wide HR projects in the hotel.
* Maintain positive communication with Heads of Department and management.
* Monitor and manage employee absenteeism.
Requirements:
* A qualification in Human Resources Management or currently studying towards one.
* At least 3 years of experience working in an HR role or HR department.
* Good understanding of employment law and best practices.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Great interpersonal and organisational skills.
* High emotional intelligence.
* Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
* Ability to stay organised and manage multiple projects at once.
