Job Description: Installation Technician - Field Based
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves attending customer sites for sign installation and maintenance work, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations. This role will primarily cover the Midlands to West region but may be required to travel nationwide when needed. A company Van is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Attend customer sites for allocated sign installation and maintenance work.
2. Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
3. Conduct routine maintenance and repair work as required.
4. Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Work collaboratively with team members and liaise professionally with clients.
6. Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures at all times.
7. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
8. Ensure site cleanliness and proper disposal of materials post-installation.
9. Occasionally undertake overnight stays when required for work assignments.
10. Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
3. Full driver’s license required.
4. Willingness to travel across the country and stay overnight when necessary.
5. Positive, can-do attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Good time management and ability to work independently.
7. Current Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification is desirable (training can be provided if needed).
8. Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.
9. Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance in the industry.
