Our client is a Main Contractor involved in numerous construction projects throughout Ireland. They are seeking an experienced financial controller with experience in the construction industry to add to their growing team.
Job Summary:
* Preparation of management accounts together with supporting board report schedules
* Managing the forecasting and budgeting process
* Revenue related activities: Revenue recognition with supporting documentation
* Weekly working capital reporting (cash, accrued revenue, debtors)
* Managing Payroll, pensions, and related matters
* Taxes: PAYE, VAT, CT and annual returns
* Banking and treasury
* Statutory accounts preparation and audit
* Continuous improvement of reporting and processes
* Ad-hoc queries as expected in a financial controller role
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous Financial Controller position within the construction industry experience preferred but not essential.
* Fully qualified – ACA / CIMA / ACCA
* Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills are required
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
