This role will accommodate hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain data pipeline architecture to optimize the collection and flow of data for various workgroups.
* Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements (automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability).
* Review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity, recommending improvements to data systems with data and analytics experts.
* Analyze user requirements and design and develop graphs, charts, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence software solutions.
* Consult and provide support for customers about BI app design and maintenance.
* Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
* Develop and maintain logical data models, including star schema, snowflake schema, Third Normal Form (3NF), dimensional data models, and foundational data warehouse principles.
* Ensure proper data governance policies are followed by implementing or validating Data Lineage, Quality checks, and classification.
Required Skills:
* Five plus years of working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
* Strong experience with UNIX, Linux, Shell scripting, Python, JavaScript, and JSON.
* Knowledge of GCP technologies, including Cloud Functions, Big Query, Pub/Sub.
* Extensive experience in ETL processes and data transformation using tools and techniques such as Lambda, SQL, DBT, and Python.
* Versatile and detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effective teamwork and adaptability to evolving technologies.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft.
* Experience in BI platform(s) such as MicroStrategy, Microsoft Power BI.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
* Master's degree preferred.
