In this position, The Group Digital Director will oversee and manage the digital technology initiatives of the business. It involves leading a team of 6 IT professionals, implementing cutting-edge digital solutions, and ensuring the seamless operation of digital platforms across predominantly their B2B customer segments. The successful candidate will drive the digital transformation strategy, enhance online customer experiences, and align technology with business goals.
The objective & key strategic priority is to continue to improve the B2B capabilities of the Group by implementing a strategy to deliver enhanced B2B customer portal capabilities, seamless buyer and seller experiences, and the digitisation of customer support. The project aims to create a seamless and efficient digital experience for B2B customers.
Key strategic digital platforms include Acquia CMS, Informatica PIM, Commercetools, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Power BI, and SAP S/4 HANA.
Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Development:
• Formulate and execute comprehensive digital strategies aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest digital trends, technologies, and best practices.
Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of digital architects, developers, and analysts.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
E-commerce and Online Platforms:
• Build out scalable B2B capabilities that can be rolled out across the Group.
• Manage and optimize B2C e-commerce platforms to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
• Collaborate with IT and product teams to implement new features and functionalities that enhance the digital experience.
Website Management:
• Ensure the company’s websites are user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines and increased traffic.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external partners to implement website enhancements and new features.
Data Analytics:
• Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and business performance.
• Generate regular reports on digital performance and present findings to senior management.
CRM System Management:
• Oversee the governance and licencing of the multi-instance Microsoft Dynamics CRM system, ensuring its functionality and efficiency.
• Manage CRM data integrity and ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer information
