My client, a small luxury 5* hotel in Ireland, is seeking an experienced executive head chef to lead their culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hotels or Michelin-standard fine dining restaurants, overseeing day-to-day operations, training and supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional food quality.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a senior role in a luxury 5* hotel or Michelin-standard fine dining restaurant environment.
* A team player with excellent staff development and innovative leadership skills.
* Strong understanding of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, stock control, budgeting, and cost control management.
* Able to deliver exceptional food while maintaining consistency and high standards.
* An ambitious leader who creates a positive work environment, promoting employee morale and encouraging teamwork.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Able to handle multiple tasks, including volume production, with attention to detail and presentation.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the latest culinary trends.
* Ensures operational budgets are in line and costs are strictly controlled.
