Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Killaloe Hotel & Spa.
Killaloe, a picturesque tourist town situated in County Clare, Ireland, is renowned for its fishing and boating activities. The hotel overlooks the Kincora Marina, offering direct access to Lough Derg and the River Shannon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational and financial success of the Food & Beverage function, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and oversee all food and beverage areas within the hotel, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
* Support and supervise hotel events, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience for guests.
* Greet guests warmly and cheerfully upon arrival and throughout their stay, fostering a positive atmosphere.
* Manage F&B rostering on the ground, taking care of daily scheduling and staff rotations.
* Train new employees, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
* Daily supervision of Bar, Restaurant, and C&B operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals and beverages to acceptable standards.
* Promote continuous improvements and upgrades to enhance the F&B offering, increasing guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
* F&B Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in food and beverage management, preferably within a hotel environment.
* Management Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing teams, prioritizing tasks, and driving results.
* C&B Experience: Essential experience in conference and banqueting management, as well as cash handling and reconciliation.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional service, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
