This is a hybrid Test Analyst / BA role where you will be responsible for design, creation, and execution of test cases, plans, and scripts, as well as requirements analysis and validation on functional product specifications and detailed business requirement documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support End to End Test execution and demonstrate proficiency in software testing and stakeholder management.
* Write test cases with good documentation standards under Agile with test evidence and audited sign offs.
* Identify, record, document thoroughly and track all defects through to resolution.
* Work confidently with the Business and Technical stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements and processes.
* Liaise with and/or educate TPAs and other key stakeholders in relation to core Insurance platform architecture and ETL specifications.
* Manage the effective transition to ‘business as usual’ following completion of SDLC.
* Own and develop relationships with key stakeholders, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration.
* Participate in joint business and IT design sessions by contributing business and/or systems knowledge to enable tailored IT solutions.
* Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
* Adhere to internal project methodologies and governance structures.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned changes.
Skills/Experience:
* Proven Test Analyst experience required with BA experience desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions.
* Advanced Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel (Complex Formula, VBA, Data Validation, etc).
* Ability to meet deadlines and to be a good team player.
* Knowledge and experience of working in the insurance sector, preferably in a cross-border business environment.
* Relevant third level qualification.
* Good command of SDLC; desire to master and continuously improve processes.
* A minimum of 3 years professional experience in Software Development and Change.
