Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the site and Electricians.
2. Supervision of electrical mechanical containment installation – Cable Ladder, Cable Tray, Conduits, Trunking, and other appropriate first fix electrical requirements including bracketry according to electrical standards.
3. Supervision of glanding and terminations of Steel Wire Armour (SWA) and Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA) cabling according to local standards.
4. Ability to lead and take ownership of electrical packages under tight schedule deadlines.
5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing – informing site management of any delays and proposing alternatives to mitigate these delays.
6. Understand the importance of safety and follow local site safety guidelines.
7. Locally recognised and fully certified Electrician with experience across a wide range of large-scale industrial projects.
8. 5+ years’ experience as an electrical supervisor or similar experience in the management of large-scale, high headcount electrical projects, ideally in Pharmaceuticals or Data Centres.
9. Ability to read and understand detailed electrical drawings.
10. Understanding of site Health and Safety guidelines and the ability to uphold and implement these guidelines with the workforce being supervised.
11. Demonstrable experience in supervisory ownership of Electrical packages such as:
1. Mechanical Electrical containment (Ladder Rack/Trunking/Tray/Bracketry)
2. Fire Alarm
3. General services – small power
4. Security and access control
5. Instrumentation
6. Local safety site certification such as “Safepass” and “Manual handling”
Desired Skills / Experience:
1. Formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering (University or similar).
2. Medium Voltage (MV) experience.
3. Electrical Testing Experience.
4. BIM Experience using Navisworks, BIM360, and Autodesk docs.
