**Job Title:** Bookkeeper Bangor Part-Time
We are working with a luxury catering company based in Bangor to find a part-time bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will work 3 days in the office and then reduce their hours to 2 days in the future.
The selected candidate will have flexibility to choose which 3 days of the week they can work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately document all income and expenses, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
* Track outstanding invoices, ensuring bills are paid on time, and follow up on customer payments.
* Compare financial records with bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Calculate wages, deductions, and issue payments to employees.
* Organize financial data into ledgers and ensure they are up to date.
* Assist with generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare VAT/GST returns, and assist with tax submissions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 12 months of experience as a bookkeeper in a similar position.
