Purpose: Due to our continuing growth and expansion, we are recruiting a Graduate Quality position in our manufacturing facility. The individual we are seeking should have a QA background and/or education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generation of Quality Assurance check sheets, SOPs and Procedures in accordance with the Company Quality System and relevant National Standards.
2. Will assume responsibility for compiling Client Quality Assurance packs and Project Quality Plans as required.
3. Generate project Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) and upload to the company’s ERP system (JARVIS).
4. Lead the Document Control function for the company and its accredited laboratory.
5. Administer and maintain approved vendor information.
6. Administration of quality assurance records in both hard and soft copy formats.
7. The candidate will also participate in the Plant and Laboratory Internal Audit Program following appropriate training.
8. Gathering of related metrics, compilation of same and reporting of findings in various dashboard formats.
9. Support the management team by providing efficient office administration in regards to Quality documentation while liaising with various managers on project documentation & certification.
10. Collation of information and data from various sources to provide accurate reports/packs.
11. Participate fully on any Lean Development Projects or Continuous improvement initiatives, and embrace new methods of working.
12. Contribute to the continued success of the Company through a positive attitude and a commitment to integrity, quality, safety, housekeeping and leadership.
13. Proficient in English language and have good verbal skills - Must be able to effectively communicate and work alongside all support & Business Unit functions including sales, design, production, and quality.
14. Willing to learn the job and to make practical suggestions on the improvement of the job to your supervisor.
15. Ensure that all employees (within your remit) and the work flow process, meet and exceed established health & safety standards as determined by Shay Murtagh Precast Ltd.
Person Specification:
1. Excellent attention to detail & organisational skills are essential.
2. Ability to think methodically, plan and manage tasks.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills (non-verbal, listening, problem solving, decision making, assertiveness, responsibility), are required for this role, along with the ability to work with all stakeholders in the wider team.
4. Highly proficient IT skills are required essentially in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
5. Knowledge and experience of working with a Quality Management system ISO9001 would be advantageous but not essential.
