This appetite is leading the market towards a more integrated approach to services.The roleThe role of Aviation Sector Lead is a senior leadership position responsible for growing our business and our reputation in the aviation sector in the region.
This senior Director level role includes determining and delivering the regional business generation strategy and assuming the responsibility for generating new business, building our proposition, building teams and capacity to deliver.
You will assume full responsibility for P&L, for the quality of our delivery and building client advocacy.OverviewDevelop a Regional Aviation Strategic Plan that serves as the basis for developing the best approach for securing business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross selling opportunities, and generate new business.Accountability for current Aviation commissions and performance.Take a leading role identifying and creating strategic alliances to secure route to market and M&A opportunities.Effectively manage risk and maximize commercial returns.Develop a position for T&T as a programme partner within the marketplace.Through gravitas and experience be able to influence clients at the board level.Ability to access key decision makers within clients, regulatory bodies, and government.Strategic PlanningAdvance the overall Aviation Programme through a well-articulated vision.Provide thought leadership at global, regional, and national levels.Critical understanding and ability to comprehend internal strengths and weaknesses across the global practice.Lead the development of the annual strategic plan for the Global Aviation Market Sector.Plan and coordinate regional conference activities and events.Business Development and Client Account ManagementLead business development, while providing guidance to field offices to develop and execute targeted client capture plans.Serves as capture lead and/or sponsor on key strategic pursuits.Establishes and prioritises key accounts at a global scale across the Aviation market; surveys industry and develops a prioritised list of growth areas.Guides the development of winning pursuits strategies and assist in reviewing client solicitations.Publishes articles in key aviation journals and/or presents at industry conferences as part of our brand recognition strategy.Key metrics include identification of new opportunities and successfully winning new opportunities.Qualifications20+ years' experience with at least 10 years' management experience and a proven track record of leading capital programme delivery from inception through to completion of high value Aviation projects / programmes.Extensive knowledge of and understanding of capital project and programme delivery and how this supports and integrates with wider high functioning environments and capital investment plans.Strong and demonstrable leadership and management experience, including project management, procurement, contract management, financial management and change management.Experience in planning, governance, and delivery having managed multiple teams setting goals, objectives and priorities, and establishing clear roles and responsibilities for all direct reports.Tangible experience of documenting best practice infrastructure development and implementation frameworks, policies and standards.In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectors.Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery and reporting.A proven track record for winning work, growing businesses, and must have held a senior position in a large organisation.Experienced in business development, identifying and securing opportunities / routes to market and enhancing existing client relationships.Develop and support work proposals for new and existing clients.Understanding of Major Projects delivery requirements with a proven ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and lead effectively in a team environment.Must be willing to travel for business purposes.
