Summary: Reporting to the Finance Director – Head of Manco Revenue & AUM will be an integral part of the team’s success. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition from a Fund Administration environment into a more corporate setting, working closely with the Manco team on financial operations, data management, and revenue analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Billing Calculation
Manage client Net Asset Value (“NAV”)/ Assets Under Management (“AUM”) data for reporting, analysis, and billing calculations
Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in client AUM/NAV data.
Prepare billing calculations and determine revenue for the Luxembourg Management Company, and provide support for the Irish, Cayman and UAE Management Companies as required.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as Business Development, Relationship Management, Onboarding, Local Finance Teams and the Legal Department to ensure that contractual agreements are in place, billing terms are clarified and clear for billing calculations.
Address client-specific queries related to revenue and Manco fee calculations and support the resolution of billing discrepancies customer disputes.
Provide outputs to the Accounts Receivable/ Billings team in the prescribed formats to facilitate the generation of invoices for clients.
Reconciliations & Controls
Ensure that the correct Policies and Procedures have been followed within the prescribed controls in preparing billing calculations.
Follow the prescribed requirements for coding/ preparing invoices in the Financial ERP system.
Perform cash allocations for remittance from customers in line with Group Policy and Procedures as part of the Bank Reconciliation process.
Maintain accurate records of billing calculations and support internal audits.
Reporting & Analysis
Support the Finance Director – Head of Manco Revenue & AUM in reporting and analyzing Manco AUM-driven revenues delivering reporting in line with Group requirements.
Liaise with Legal Entity Financial Controllers and Record to Report Accountants at Month End to ensure Billing cut-off is achieved and all AR entries created from the billing process to the General Ledger are correctly accounted for and presented.
Participate in the annual audit process including providing timely responses to queries as required.
Collaboration & Partnering
Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to facilitate the Management Company billing process.
Contribute to the Enterprise Data Management project by overseeing the flow of client NAV/AUM data into and out of the data lake.
Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and financial institutions, to facilitate efficient payment processing and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Waystone Group, ensuring effective collaboration communication and development of solutions.
Assist in any process improvements including enhancing the Accounts Receivable/ Billing calculation Policies & Procedures and technology system improvements.
REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
3 to 6+ years in a fund accounting, financial reporting or fund administration role.
Experience working in a Fund Administrator, Asset Manager or Big Four firm with exposure to fund structures.
Strong knowledge of NAV and AUM calculations.
Exposure to revenue recognition and fee calculations, ideally within a Manco, Asset Management or Fund Services setting.
Sage Intacct and Salesforce experience is preferable but not necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
Education:
A professional accounting qualification is preferred.
