Job Description
This contract position, part of the Engineering Project Delivery Team, is responsible for overseeing engineering projects from scoping to start-up operations.
The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget constraints, and meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget allocations, and alignment with safety and quality objectives.
* Define and scope new projects, securing necessary capital approvals and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
* Lead and participate in commissioning and qualification activities for both current and future projects, ensuring seamless handovers and efficient transitions.
* Provide regular updates to management and project stakeholders, maintaining open communication channels and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and third-party service providers, fostering collaborative relationships and driving project success.
* Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring proper record-keeping and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Estimate project costs, track expenses, update budgets, and forecast financial needs, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
* Create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and manage risks, employing proactive risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
* Conduct studies on constructability, maintainability, and operability, ensuring that projects are designed and executed with consideration for long-term sustainability and efficiency.
* Manage project resources and assess system conditions (structural, electrical, safety), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Organise project meetings and provide relevant training where needed, promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building across the project team.
* Ensure all activities comply with internal procedures and regulatory standards, upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.
* Review project performance upon completion, identifying lessons learned for future improvements and applying best practices to enhance organisational capabilities.

* Familiarity with documentation practices, including GDP and site-specific procedures, with excellent organisational and time management skills to meet business needs.
