The Role in Brief
The IT Support Engineer role provides proactive support and resolves reactive tickets with excellent friendly service for our valued customers who see us as an extension of their own organisation. The day to day role involves solving customer issues remotely over the phone or via email and working on a range of end user technical issues. In this role you will work with services and solutions that use technology platforms from Microsoft, HP Enterprise, HP, Cisco, VM Ware, Sophos and Datto. Extensive industry training and certification is provided and development path into network and security, or infrastructure and cloud services is an option.
This role will ideally suit you if:
* You have at least 1-2 years’ experience working as an ICT Support Engineer in a customer focused service centre
* You have a third level degree qualification in an IT discipline
* You have achieved or are interested in achieving professional vendor certification
