Accommodation & Community Support Worker
Salary: £22,675 - £24,108 Location: Various locations across Northern Ireland (starting in Lisburn) Hours: 37.5 hours including evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
Job Purpose: As part of a team, provide effective 24-hour support to individuals in hostels, family units, and remote support services.
Work to promote independence, develop support plans, and facilitate positive outcomes for clients transitioning to independent living.
* Provide support and advice to clients, ensuring their needs are effectively met.
* Conduct assessments to determine required interventions and develop support plans.
* Work closely with external agencies to coordinate services and maximise opportunities.
* Assist clients with personal, financial, and domestic responsibilities.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with organisation policies.
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-managed living environment.

Senior Practitioner
Salary: £25,269 - £27,459 Location: Based in Lisburn, with flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland Hours: 35 hours per week, with flexibility as required Job Purpose: Lead and supervise staff, oversee service delivery, and manage complex client cases.
Work alongside the Accommodation Manager to ensure efficient operations, adherence to policies, and achievement of key performance indicators.
* Supervise staff, provide guidance, and lead on complex case management.
* Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with housing support and prevention initiatives.
* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and contribute to quality improvement plans.
* Work in collaboration with external agencies to support client needs.
* Monitor budgets and organisational resources to maintain financial control.
* Participate in the on-call rota and act as a deputy in the absence of the manager.

Who We Are Looking For:
Both roles require individuals who are non-judgmental, trustworthy, and dedicated to supporting those affected by homelessness.
Essential Criteria: Experience working with vulnerable or socially excluded individuals.
Strong interpersonal and IT skills for effective communication and record-keeping.
Willingness to work flexibly, including shift patterns (Accommodation & Community Support Worker) or travel (Senior Practitioner).
For the Senior Practitioner role, additional supervisory experience is desirable; 3 years' experience of working with socially excluded people or 3 rd Level qualification or equivalent e.g QCF NVQ Level 3 in a relevant qualification
