Job Description
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team at a well-known Irish brand. This hybrid role is based in Limerick and focuses on continuous improvement initiatives within the business.
The primary purpose of this role is to support a portfolio of applications as a functional systems analyst, working closely with IT teams to ensure systems are functioning effectively and continuously improving system configuration, utilization, and business reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support, manage, and maintain a portfolio of applications at a functional and administrative level.
* Resolve first-line functional support and process issues on systems.
* Evaluate incidents or problems with IT teams for prioritization, analysis, and resolution.
* Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities to enhance processes through system use.
* Draft business requirements documents to clearly articulate business challenges, needs, and benefits.
* Work with IT to plan and implement Release Management and change control for system upgrades and product enhancements.
* Participate in testing, sign-off, and deployment of new deliverables.
* Develop documented processes and relevant support and user guides.
* Promote continuous development of plans for failover and testing of critical systems.
* Provide training on new systems and procedures to the wider team.
Ideal Experience:
* A minimum of two years' experience supporting business systems, preferably on an ERP.
* Experience working as a system admin/analyst or business systems support role across multiple business systems.
* Business analysis and requirement gathering experience with proven methodologies.
* Experience drafting and publishing process maps and user support documentation.
* Strong communication skills and experience dealing with IT Teams.
* Experience developing reports on end-user tools such as Discoverer, PowerBi or TargIT.
