We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead our team at our client's cutting-edge medical manufacturing facility located just outside Cork City.
The Role
* Oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of all facilities.
* E nsure all utilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are operating efficiently.
* Negotiate contracts with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
* Coordinate office layout, space planning, and moves to optimize the use of space.
* E nsure the facility meets all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, fire safety, and environmental standards.
* I mplement green initiatives such as energy-saving programs and recycling policies.
* P repare reports on financial performance, facility conditions, and capital projects.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* 5+ years experience in facilities management, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in FM software and MS Office.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and external vendors.
