Job Title: IT Support Engineer
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team for a 12-month day rate contract. This position is based in Letterkenny, Co Donegal and requires occasional travel to other client sites.
About the Role:
* Resolve end-user hardware and software problems that cannot be handled by the Helpdesk.
* Document and communicate solutions to issues.
* Work with Active Directory creating users, performing password resets, account removals/transfers, Group Policy, and User Permissions.
Duties:
* Deal with all end-user hardware/software problems that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk.
* Address issues with local software, network connectivity, printing, PC performance, mobile phones, audio-visual equipment, Windows Updates, releasing emails or websites blocked by an email or web filter.
Requirements:
* At least 4 years of experience working in a Level-2 Helpdesk Role.
* Previous experience working with Active Directory, including user creation, password resets, account removals/transfers, Group Policy, and User Permissions.
* Previous experience dealing with end-user hardware/software problems, including local software, network connectivity, printing, PC performance, Citrix, mobile phones, audio-visual equipment, VMWare, Windows Updates, releasing emails or websites blocked by an email or web filter.
