Do you want to work in the charity/not-for-profit sector ? This leading Irish Charity with a national remit require a Qualified Accountant/Internal Auditor to join their Head Office team. A stand-alone role, reporting to the CEO and the audit committee, you will work as part of the management team of this well-established organisationWorking on both financial and operational audits, with a focus on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management Key Tasks will include: Implement and execute an annual audit plan Conduct audits of financial and operational processes and procedures to include review of financial statements Evaluate internal control systems Perform risk assessments Prepare detailed audit reports for various stakeholders Ensure financial practices adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. Assist in the development of audit plans and strategies Liaise with external auditors Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with strong Internal Audit or External Audit experience and have a strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and risk management.
