Product Manager
Position Overview: We are currently working with our client, in their search for an exceptional Product Manager. This role is pivotal in driving the product and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams, ensuring that the business continues to deliver market-leading products that enhance customer experience and drive market share growth.
Key Objectives:
1. Lead the product and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams.
2. Analyze customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from a value-add perspective.
3. Collaborate with the business to assess competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation.
4. Develop and analyse product requirements and create programs to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery with customer satisfaction as a priority.
5. Implement and maintain development timelines across multiple products.
6. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle both internally and through third-party collaborations.
7. Manage the deployment of new products, functionalities, and upgrades in partnership with business stakeholders and third parties.
8. Facilitate troubleshooting of application issues between customers and third parties, driving progress and minimising business impacts.
9. Own and nurture relationships with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements development, roadmap creation, and product launch.
11. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
12. Create product strategy documents outlining business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
13. Analyze market data to develop growth strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
14. Collaborate closely across the organization in the development, QA, and release of products, balancing resources to ensure organizational success.
15. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates in the marketplace.
16. Triage application issues with third parties and users, taking ownership to drive satisfactory outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
17. Extensive experience in a dynamic product management role.
18. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
19. Prior experience in the software development lifecycle and QA processes.
20. Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
21. High effectiveness in cross-functional management.
22. Experience in delivering finely tuned product strategies.
23. Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
24. Proficiency in SQL, including the use and building of procedures (essential); MySQL experience is beneficial.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
25. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering.
26. Previous experience in software/web development.
27. Proven success as a product developer in a non-managerial role.
