Job Title: Machine Operator
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Carrigtwohill, CO. Cork. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machines and maintaining a safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain and monitor the running of machines, reporting any issues or safety hazards to your Team Leader/Supervisor immediately.
* Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures when working on machines.
* Cut and assemble various materials as per specifications using saws, die cut saws, and other cutting devices.
* Assemble boxes, crates, and other products using air powered nail guns, heat welding, staple guns, and glue guns.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and productivity goals.
* Collaborate with team members, colleagues, and management to ensure efficient production runs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in manufacturing industry/machine use (preferred)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to use own initiative and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good team player with attention to Health and Safety protocols
* Spoken/Written English
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role offers a competitive salary of €13.10 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay.
